Erhan Dursun was born in Istanbul in 1980. He completed his primary and high school in Kocaeli. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004 and started his PhD career in Periodontics in the same University and finished in 2010. He became assistant professor in 2013 and associate professor in 2017. Dr. Dursun’s special working areas are ‘ systemic disease-periodontal disease association, sports dentistry, implantology, immediate implant placement and loading protocol, advanced soft and hard tissue augmentation techniques’. He is actively member of European Federation of Periodontology, Turkish Society of Periodontology and ITI (international team for implantology). He has many published research papers in scientific medicine and dentistry journals and also working as reviewer for scientific implantology and periodontology journals. He is married and has two children . He continues his academic studies as a professor at Istanbul Beykent University.
